Conceived by the master naval architect Nathanael Greene Herreshoff, she carries an unmistakable pedigree, paired with generous proportions that translate into wide, uncluttered deck areas and interior spaces of unusual scale for a yacht of her period.  
Her preservation story is one of consistency and care, having passed through only a small number of private owners over the decades, including two long-term custodians who invested significantly in her upkeep over the past thirty years. This commitment culminated in a substantial multi-million-pound refit at Pendennis Shipyard, which sensitively renewed key elements while respecting her original character.
