Originally built for Dr. Antoine Cloetta from Switzerland, Aiglon then belonged to Johannes, 11th Prince of Thurn and Taxis in the eighties. Her present owner bought her in 1994 and invested over 3 million Euros in a total refit adding up a raised pilothouse and a flybridge, an elegant bowsprit, new Caterpillar engines and much more. L'Aiglon means the Eaglet in French, and was also the nickname of Napoleon’s son, François Charles Joseph Bonaparte.
