BROKERS COMMENTS:
Dr. Antoine Cloetta of Switzerland originally commissioned Aiglon. In the 1980s, Johannes, 11th Prince of Thurn and Taxis, owned the vessel. Her current owner purchased her in 1994 and invested over 3 million Euros in a complete refit. This extensive upgrade added a raised pilothouse, a flybridge, an elegant bowsprit, and new Caterpillar engines.
L’Aiglon translates to “The Eaglet” in French—the famous nickname of Napoleon’s son, François Charles Joseph Bonaparte. Inside, Aiglon’s timeless interiors create an elegant atmosphere that captures the charm of a bygone era.
This sleek 45-meter Abeking & Rasmussen aluminium custom schooner offers unmatched strength, grace, and transatlantic capability.
