5. Negotiation & Legal Guidance
Buying a yacht involves contracts, negotiations, and sometimes cross-border transactions. Our role is to protect your interests throughout this process. When you are ready to make an offer, market knowledge and decades of sales closed means we know what represents a fair price for your chosen yacht. Highly experienced in negotiating, we work on your behalf to ensure the best terms are secured with the Seller.
At this point a detailed agreement known as a MYBA Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) is drawn up, agreed and signed by both parties. We will thereafter arrange a buyer’s sea trial and condition survey, after which there may then be some renegotiation and once an agreement is reached the final sales documents will be exchanged, the payment made, and the sale completed. We can coordinate with trusted maritime lawyers (if required) to ensure everything is handled professionally and securely. 6. Taking Ownership
